The long of it.
We had Old vertical 70's blinds. Yuk
We decided on plantation style indoor shutters/blinds.
Me( the man) " I can do this myself"
After building my own
House, boat, fences, and cabins, I've dug wells, installed heaters and air conditioners.
I'm Also a furniture woodworker.

I was thinking of the new bits I was going to get for my router and realizing I was going to have to drive into the l.a. basin in my 14mpg truck to get the wood.
Then...Plan, haul, dry, cut, sweat, recut, drink beer, paint,sweat repaint clean paint off self and spray gun
Drill , swear , drink ...hic...install, caulk edges, fill in nail holes..,,it was  exhausting thinking of all the tedium.

Then I walked bast my beer stash and looked at the green hills waiting to be hiked.
Omg. What a concept

  We recently bought a house and needed all new window shades. Looked into a few options at a few places, and decided to go with Quality Window. Due to Covid19... read more some of the shades took longer to arrive, but they put up some decent temp shades in the meantime that were great. The guys called before they came to let us know they were running early, which we appreciated. Everything looks great and so far the quality does seem very good! We have friends that have similar shades that they paid a little less for, but the quality of ours is much better looking. They say they have Lifetime warranty, so if anything does happen we will hopefully be covered. And thank you for wearing masks inside our home to be safe!
